Alan & Yvette Grometstein have been involved with First State since 2003. They have helped us run smoothly in so many ways...volunteering at Meet & Greets (even ones at quite a distance from their New Jersey home), transporting hounds, and coming to all of the new-hound-intake days that they can. Recently, Yvette also took on the role of Turnover Coordinator, tackling the logistics of getting dogs from foster home to forever home smoothly! |
| Yvette has also donated some of her fabulous hand-made beaded jewelry to be auctioned off as a FSGR fundraiser. Alan & Yvette are owned by greys Taylor and Princess, as well as a poodle named Rhett. They recently tried on a new role as well...foster family. It was a great success...maybe too great of success...since foster Stormy, now renamed Spencer, seems to have found his forever-home with the Grometsteins!
